Goal of Mental Health Therapy at Blue Lake Rehabilitation Psychology

An essential core-concept of human dignity is that a person is not an object, not a thing.

You might feel overwhelmed or burnt out from managing your physical and mental health, which can sometimes feel like a full-time job. Maybe you have had moments when you felt like giving up. Or perhaps you are watching a loved one struggle and are unsure how to help. At Blue Lake Rehabilitation Psychology, I am here to support you as you work through these thoughts and feelings, whether you are facing the challenge yourself or caring for someone who is.
As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, I know that everyone can face major life changes. Getting a new diagnosis or dealing with new symptoms can be scary and overwhelming. I have also gone through unexpected life events, so I understand how important it is to have support during recovery. At Blue Lake Rehabilitation Psychology, my goal is to help people heal and build resilience as they manage life-changing conditions. I work with burn and spinal cord injury survivors, people who have had transplants or amputations, those who have experienced trauma, and anyone starting or continuing recovery from addiction. Because I have been both a patient and a caregiver, I also know how important it is for caregivers to get support too.
